WMU student reportedly robbed on campus

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A Western Michigan student reported being robbed by two men with a gun overnight on the school’s Kalamazoo campus.

The report has been posted on theWestern Michigan University website and an alert was sent to students.

According to WMU News, the robbery happened just after midnight near the Student Recreation Center.

The victim, a male student who lives French Hall, reported he was approached by two men dressed in black-hooded sweatshirts and sweatpants and wearing bandanas. The pair was reportedly armed and took a small amount of cash.  The victim was not hurt and reported that the pair ran behind Read Fieldhouse.
