Brewery holding fundraiser for principal fighting leukemia

GRANDVILLE, Mich. – A Grandville brewery is holding a fundraiser this Saturday to help a family fighting leukemia.

Osgood Brewing at 4051 Chicago Drive SW will be donating $1 for every beer sold on Saturday, February 20 to the family of Chris VanderSlice.  VanderSlice is the principal at Grandville High School and has been fighting leukemia.

West Michigan Realty Pros are also donating $1 for every beer and $2 for every pizza sold on Saturday.

VanderSlice was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January 2014.  He also played basketball for Hope College and the restaurant will be airing the Hope/Calvin basketball game Saturday afternoon.

Donations of cash, check or Visa Gift Cards will also be accepted for the family.
