TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 20-year-old Cedar Springs woman was hospitalized Tuesday after a head-on crash at Lake Michigan Drive and 8th Avenue.
The crash was reported at about 7:45 a.m. after police say the woman was attempting to turn left onto 8th Avenue. She turned in front of a westbound vehicle, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman’s injuries are not life threatening. She was cited for failing to yield right of way, according to a release from the sheriff’s department.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was not injured.
