KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A suspect is in custody after robbing a restaurant Friday morning.
Kent County Deputies said the robbery happened around 9:30am at Romano’s Macaroni Grill. The suspect talked with employees before the restaurant opened and acted like he was interested in applying for a job.
He then was able to speak with the manager alone in her office, where he robbed her at gunpoint for an undisclosed amount of cash.
Deputies say a suspect was taken into custody around 9:30 Friday night and lodged for armed robbery.
The name of the suspect and his official charges will be released after arraignment.
