WEST MICHIGAN — Very cold air will stay in place this weekend with a significant warm-up for next week.
The upper level winds will shift to the west and southwest by mid to late in the week. Warmer than average temperatures will move into the state with highs on Friday well into the 40s.
The 6-10 day temperatures will stay above average over most of the country with the highest chances from the Great Lakes into the Central Plains.
