GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The West Michigan Spartan alumni association held its sixth annual Spartan Winter Tailgate at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids Thursday night.
Michigan State football head coach Mark Dantonio headlined the event.
This year former football coach and athletic director George Perles was honored with the 2016 Legacy Award.
