GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two teens are recovering after being shot late Saturday night while standing outside of a party store on the city’s southeast side.
The two teens were shot around 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Madison SE in front of the Riordan’s Party Store, according to Grand Rapids Police.
Police believe they were targeted.
The 17-year-old men were standing in front of the store when a man drove up in a white Dodge Caravan. The suspect inside the van got out of the vehicle and fired multiple shots at the teens. One teen was shot in the leg, the other in the foot.
They were taken to the hospital by ambulance are expected to be okay.
Police do not have a suspect in custody, but say they are searching for someone who is describe as a black or Hispanic man.
