GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One of West Michigan’s most popular craft breweries has joined forces with one of the area’s most well-known race events: Fifth Third Bank will partner with Perrin Brewing Company to make it the official craft beer/brewery of this year’s River Bank Run.
“Grand Rapids is Beer City USA and runners love beer, so this is a perfect opportunity to celebrate local and provide an even better experience for race participants,” said John Zimmerman, Fifth Third River Bank Run Race Director, in a news release.
Perrin will be just one of many new additions to the post-race party at Calder Plaza.
“All of us at Perrin Brewing are thrilled to be part of such a great event that brings so many people to the Grand Rapids area,” said Keith Klopcic, owner of Perrin Brewing Company.”
The 2016 Fifth Third River Bank Run is set for Saturday, May 14.
