GALESBURG, Mich. – Police say that a man’s body that was found on East Michigan Avenue was the person who fled a vehicle crash Sunday night.
The body of Jason Gustafson, 38, of Waterford, was found at about 9:00am Monday behind a building on East Michigan. Gustafon was found by an employee of the building going to work.
Sunday night, police responded to a crash nearby, but when they arrived, the driver had left the scene on foot. They tried to track the driver using a K9 unit, but the K9 lost the track when they believe the driver went through some water.
