AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — When police in Amsterdam went to investigate a possible domestic issue, they were shocked to learn the source of concern was just a passionate opera singer.
According to CNN, police kicked in a door on Tuesday night after someone called to report a “frightening scream” coming from inside a residence. Turns out, those screams of agony were really just a man with headphones singing along with an opera.
Everyone involved laughed it off, and the man with the 9-1-1-worthy voice will not face any sort of criminal charges.
It is not clear if he continued singing after the ‘intermission.’
