GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Gaines Township Planning Commission is set to discuss a proposed Chick-fil-A restaurant.
According to the agenda for Thursday night’s meeting, the commission will review a preliminary plan for the Kent County location.
The 4,800 square foot restaurant and drive-thru would be located at 1545 Edgeknoll Dr. near M-6 and Kalamazoo Avenue, according to the planning commission agenda.
Chick-fil-A announced plans for another West Michigan location last summer. The fast food chicken chain planned a Holland location at the former Perkins Restaurant & Bakery on North Park Drive off US-31.
No opening date has been announced for either of these West Michigan locations.
The Gaines Township commission meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
