1 injured in head-on Holland Twp. crash

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 67-year-old man was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Riley Street west of 112th Avenue.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported at about 8:45 a.m.

Police say a 16-year-old Zeeland boy was driving east on Riley when he tried to stop behind another vehicle, lost control of his truck and went into the westbound lanes.

The truck collided with a westbound car driven by a 67-year-old Zeeland man, according to a release from the sheriff’s department.

The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  The teen was not injured.
