Wynton Bernard made the most of his one season with the West Michigan Whitecaps in 2014 -- setting a single-season franchise record with 164 hits on his way to a Midwest League batting title and league MVP honors. He was put on the Detroit Tigers' 40-man roster after the season.
He followed 2014 up with a stellar season in Double-A Erie in 2015, hitting .301 and finishing two hits shy of the Seawolves single-season record.
He is currently the #24 prospect in the Tigers' farm system.
