After trailing by 4 at halftime to 22nd-ranked Aquinas, ninth-ranked Cornerstone opened the second half on a 30-4 run en route to a 85-66 win on Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles avenged a buzzer-beater loss to the Saints back in December.
Travis Wells led Cornerstone with 21 points. Cory Cox added 14 and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career.
Jake Bullock scored a game-high 25 points for Aquinas, who fall out of a tie for first place in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference.
