WEST MICHIGAN — Check your pantry. Trader Joe’s is the latest company to issue a recall warning consumers of possible contamination of the Trader Joe’s raw cashew pieces.
The company’s supplier warned the business of possible contamination of salmonella. Officials also said the cashews have been removed from store shelves.
According to a release issued on the company’s website on Monday, the product was distributed in several stores, including Michigan.
No illnesses have been reported.
