DETROIT, Mich. — The Detroit Tigers continue to make big move this offseason.
Several reports Monday night say the team has agreed to terms on a six-year contract with free-agent outfielder Justin Upton. The deal is said to be worth $132.75 million.
The 28-year-old, who will most likely become the Tigers’ starting left fielder, has hit .271 over nine MLB seasons with 190 home runs and 616 RBI. Upton is also a three-time All-Star who has played with Arizona, Atlanta, and San Diego.
The Tigers have yet to confirm the deal.
