GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – An elderly woman was not injured after police said she accidentally drove her car into a building.
According to police, it happened at 10:26 a.m. in the 1500 block of 42nd Street near Kalamazoo Avenue.
Officers said the elderly woman told them she thought she was hitting the brake but accidentally stepped on the gas, sending the car into the apartment complex where a shared laundry room was located.
No one else was injured.
