ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management and the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids are watching the levels of the Grand River in Robinson Township.
The say a possible ice jam on the river near Grand Haven is causing the river levels to rise. The river has reached flood stage.
Officials say water levels have risen significantly. The weather service issued a flood warning for Robinson Township.
The Office of Emergency Management has been in contact with township and city officials, alerting them to the rising river levels.
