LANSING, Mich. -- There are five new millionaires in the state of Michigan following Wednesday night's record Powerball drawing.
According to a news release from Michigan Lottery, the lucky players matched the first five numbers to win a $1 million prize. The winning numbers are 04-08-19-27-34 (Powerball number of 10).
One of the winning tickets was purchased at the D & W located at 6425 28th Street SE in Grand Rapids. The other winning tickets were bought in Horton, Iron Mountain, Cadillac, and Holly.
The world-record $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot has at least three big winners: one winning ticket was sold in California, another in Tennessee, and a third in Florida.
