Another round of snow for Wednesday night

Posted

West Michigan – A quick moving system will bring another round of snow to the area by late Wednesday.

Our Future Track computer model shows snow developing along the lakeshore and spreading eastward by 5 PM Wednesday. Arctic air will remain locked in place and southwest winds will enhance the snowfall west and north of Grand Rapids.

The snow will continue through the evening and slowly diminish after midnight. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a few flurries possible. Temperatures on Thursday will warm into the lower 30s.

Snowfall totals will generally range from 1-2 inches with lesser amounts south and southeast. Some 2-4 inch amounts will be possible north of a line from South Haven to Grand Rapids.
