Ebanks, Sims lead Drive to Showcase win after Brown signs with Suns

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Devin Ebanks scored 25 points and Henry Sims added 23 as the Grand Rapids Drive opened the NBA D-League Showcase with a 102-87 win over Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon. Grand Rapids has now won four straight games.

The win came just hours after Drive point guard Lorenzo Brown signed a 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns. Brown is the sixth-ranked prospect in the NBADL — and played in 29 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves after a call-up from the Drive last season.

The Drive (9-8) wrap up their Showcase schedule on Sunday against Los Angeles at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will be shown live on NBA TV.
