WASHINGTON — The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has announced the recall of certain Sam’s Choice beef products, after a possible contamination of extraneous wood products.
The only variety impacted in the recall is the Sam’s Choice Black Angus Vidalia Onion 2 lb. boxes containing six patties. A total of 89,568 lbs. are impacted in the recall.
There have been no reports of injuries or any adverse reactions after consumption of the product.
Consumers who purchased them are urged to either dispose of them, or return them to the place of purchase.
