Woman arrested for outstanding warrant; Drugs, nunchucks found in car

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant and having a small amount of drugs in her car after she was pulled over for speeding.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department said a deputy stopped the 45-year-old woman on East Avenue North near Emmett Street around 9:00 a.m. Sunday.

She was arrested for an outstanding warrant, as well as driving on a suspended license.

During a search of her vehicle, the deputy found a small amount of “crack” cocaine, marijuana, and a pair of nunchucks.

The driver was taken to a county jail.
