HOLLAND, Mich. — A 23-year-old Holland Township man was killed Friday morning after a crash on Waverly Road.
According to Holland Police, the man was driving southbound on Waverly road south of 24th Street at a “high rate of speed” when he left the road, rolled over several times and hit a tree. The crash closed Waverly in both directions between 24th and 32nd streets.
The one-car crash was reported around 8:43 a.m., but officials believe it happened hours before the initial call, according to a release. Officials reported that Waverly reopened shortly after 10 a.m.
The victim has been identified as Edward Sedell-Shaquille Isom.
