Powerball jackpot hits $300 million for last 2015 drawing

LANSING, Mich. – Was your resolution in 2015 to become a multi-millionaire? You have one more chance to make it tonight.

The Powerball jackpot drawing for Wednesday night has climbed to over $300 million.  According to the Michigan Lottery, this is the third-largest Powerball jackpot in 2015.  In February, three tickets in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas split a $564 million jackpot.  In September, Julie Leach of Three Rivers, Michigan won $310 million.  Four players in Michigan have won $1 million this year.

Tickets are $2 each at lottery retailers around the state. Ticket sales end at 9:45pm Wednesday. The drawing can be watched at http://www.powerballlive.com/powerball or we’ll have them on FOX 17 News at 10:00pm.
