PLAINWELL, Mich. - Traffic may be slower through Plainwell Thursday due to a million pound cargo moving through.
A new ITC transformer is moving through town on M-89. The transformer weighs almost one million pounds. The transformer is 220 feet long, 16 feet high and 19 feet wide.
Erickson's Transport is having to move the transformer very slowly to its new location on Van Kal Avenue.
