Ravenna teen charged in crash that killed 10-year-old

MUSKEGON, Mich. – A 14-year-old boy from Ravenna was charged Tuesday in juvenile court for driving a vehicle involved in a crash that killed a 10-year-old boy.

Jeremiah Ingram was charged with Reckless Driving Causing Death, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License Causing Death, and Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle.  He was driving on December 3rd with Jeffrey Jennings, 10, as his passenger when lost control and crashed on Ensley Road.  Jennings was killed in the crash.  Ingram was also injured.

Muskegon County Juvenile Court Referee Robert Engel granted a request by the defense that Ingram will be allowed to live with his father in Muskegon while the case is pending.  Child Protective Services will be involved in his supervision.
