KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A Kalamazoo County woman arrested earlier this month for a home invasion is now wanted on charges of failing to appear in court.

Lindsey Coppersmith was arrested on December 1st after a home invasion in the 1500 block of N. 37th Street in Charleston Township. She was caught after a short chase with the help of a Kalamazoo K-9.  Her boyfriend, Mitchell Fletcher, got away.  He was later caught in Comstock.

Coppersmith was charged at the time for resisting and evading police and bonded out of jail.  As the investigation has continued, police were issuing more warrants on Coppersmith on home invasion charges.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff says she may be staying in the 2500 block of E. Cork Street in Kalamazoo, the 3000 block of Margaret Street in Comstock Township or an unknown address in the Pavillion Trailer Park in Pavillion Township.
