BLENDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police are working to track down two men who are suspected of assaulting a man with metal pipes Saturday morning, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said it happened around 5 a.m. in the Holland Pallet parking lot, which is located on Henry Court. A patrolling cruiser found a man who had been beaten on his face and head after being assaulted.
The victim, 62, told investigators two men wearing black ski masks and wielding metal pipes attacked him and stole his wallet and money.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police did not identify him.
