West Michigan – More lake effect snow is expected for the area overnight with some heavier snow totals. A Winter Weather Advisory will continue for parts of West Michigan until 11 AM Saturday.
Our Future Track computer model shows a heavy band of snow by 9 PM this evening running along I-94. North of that, only light snow showers or flurries are expected.
By midnight that heavy band of snow will shift eastward and mainly south of I-94.
Moisture will move out the area by 7 AM and only some light snow showers or flurries are expected.
Total snowfall by Saturday morning may reach up to 4 inches in some areas along I-94. Lighter amounts are expected to the north and south.
