2 arrested following alleged credit card fraud in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Two people were taken into custody after allegedly trying to commit credit card fraud on Thursday.

It happened  around 2:15 p.m. in the 200 block of E. Columbia Avenue in Battle Creek. Police said the pair were trying make a cash advance with credit cards that appeared to be stolen.

A 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested.

Police found 50 fake credit cards in the suspect’s vehicle.
