GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Friday was a day to remember for a 9-year-old girl from West Michigan who suffers from cystic fibrosis.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is planning to send Erin Ledkins to Hawaii to fulfill her dream of learning how to surf.
Before going on the trip in February, Make-A-Wish and Macy's teamed up to give Erin the red carpet treatment.
Erin was surprised with a customized surfboard signed by classmates and her cheer squad. She also got to pick out three outfits at the store for her trip.
