GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Fire Department hosted a Marrow Donor Registry Drive Friday after some recent illnesses in the fire department family.
Tim Tobin was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in September. Rebekah Skrycki, the three-year-old daughter of firefighter Joe Skrycki, was diagnosed with AML in November.
