Suspect’s vehicle in Holland double murder found at Buddhist temple

HOLLAND, Mich. -- Bountavee Nerasin, the 51-year-old suspect in a double homicide in Holland, died after shooting himself Tuesday, according to Holland Police.

Nerasin, of Zeeland, was suspected of shooting and killing Mani Khounvongsa and Gilberto Andrade-Pena 300 block Stratford Way in Holland Monday night.  Read more

The Holland Department of Public Safety issued a photo of Narasin Tuesday morning and said he was believed to be driving a gold 1997 Lexus LS400 four-door with tinted windows and Michigan plate BRE2702.

Police used a search warrant to examine the Nerasin's home in the 10000 block of Wood Run Drive.

Just before noon, police began converged on the Lao Buddhist Temple at 112th Avenue and Van Buren.

Holland Police say Nerasin was found in a vehicle with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.  He died at the scene after emergency responders attempted to resuscitate him, according to police.
