BIG PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 54-year-old man was killed Wednesday after the bike he was riding was hit by a car on 36th Street near Beech Avenue.
According to the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Department, A 37-year-old woman was driving eastbound when her vehicle struck Donald Husted’s bike. Officials say he was riding a bike in the middle of the eastbound lane.
The crash was reported at about 5:49 p.m., according to a release.
Husted was taken to the hospital and later died.
