MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – A Greenville man is charged after pointing a gun during a road rage incident Monday.
Neil Endsley, 58, is charged felonious assault with a dangerous weapon, felony firearms and reckless driving from the incident that happened about 5:30pm on U.S. 127 north of East Rosebush Road in Isabella Township.
Michigan State Police say that a 33-year-old man from Farwell was heading north on U.S. 127 when Endsley’s vehicle blocked him from passing. The man flashed his headlights at Endsley. Both vehicles continued on and the Farwell man tells police he saw Endsley point a gun at him. The Farwell man then backed off with his vehicle and called police.
Police found Endsley in Clare County and pulled him over. He was found to have a .40 caliber handgun in his vehicle. Endsley was determined to be legally carrying the weapon.
Endsley will next be in court for a probable cause conference on December 10.
