NEWBERG TWP, Mich. (AP) — An 87-year-old woman has died in a fire in southwestern Michigan.
Cass County authorities say two people and four dogs survived Saturday night, but Phyllis Tucker was pronounced dead at the home in Newberg Township, 40 miles south of Kalamazoo.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. One of the four dogs was taken for treatment.
