LANSING, Mich. — According to a recent post by Pure Michigan, students in the fourth and fifth grade will be able to ski for free at many resorts and ski areas around the state this season.
It is all thanks to the ‘Cold Is Cool’ Ski & Ride Passport, which was put together by the Michigan Snowsports Industries Association (MSIA). Thanks to donations from locations around Michigan, the passport gives 4th and 5th graders up to three free lift tickets or trail passes at 30 participating ski areas. There are also discounts in the passport.
The Ski & Ride Passport costs $20 in a one-time purchase. Parents will need to provide their children’s proof of age and school enrollment information. Click here for more information on how to obtain the passport.
