3 arrested after woman carjacked at gunpoint

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Three suspects are in custody following an armed carjacking Sunday evening east of downtown Grand Rapids.

Around 8:15 p.m., a woman reported she was approached by three men near Fulton Street and Union Avenue.  The victim told police the suspects pointed a gun at her, then stole her vehicle and personal property.

About 30 minutes later, the three suspects and the stolen car were found on Crescent Street near College Avenue NE. Those suspects  were arrested and all of the woman’s stolen property was recovered.

No injuries were reported in that incident.
