SPRINGFIELD, Mich. — Two men were hospitalized after being shot early Saturday morning, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to a report of gunfire on W. Dickman Road in the city of Springfield at around 1:30 a.m. They later found that two men, a 22 and 23-year-old, were taken to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital for gunshot wounds related to the reported shooting.
Both men were hit several times and were later transferred to Bronson Kalamazoo for further treatment. Their condition is currently unkown.
