Woman sentenced for role in Cutlerville armed robbery, murder

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A woman who admitted to stealing the wallet and checkbook of a murder victim has been sentenced to at least five years in prison.

Angie Marie Smith was sentenced Thursday in Kent County to five to 30 years in prison, with credit for just over one year already served.

Smith was accused in stealing the property from Richard Lee Priebe in November of 2014. He was stabbed to death in his Cutlerville home.

Roger Davis was sentenced in October to life in prison for killing Priebe.  John Liebek was also sentenced in early October to 30 to 45 years for armed robbery in the case.  Smith’s sentence was also for armed robbery.
