Ulisis Martinez, 45
WEST MICHIGAN – A parole violator recently featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted has been arrested in Detroit thanks in part to a viewer tip, federal authorities say.
Ulisis Martinez, 45, was taken into custody by Michigan Department of Corrections Recovery Unit Officers and Detroit Police Department Officers on November 5.
Martinez was arrested without incident according to investigators.
Martinez had avoided law enforcement since late April 2015 after serving time for prior convictions including resisting and obstructing police along with credit card theft. Both those crimes occurred in early 2007.
Martinez also has a prior conviction for assault with intent to do great bodily harm according to his online profile with the Michigan Department of Corrections.
