WYOMING, Mich. – A Newaygo man is in jail for allegedly having sex repeatedly with an autistic child over a three year period.
Richard Allen Sale, 52, is charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct, 1st degree. The incidents allegedly happened at a home near 44th Street and Buchanan in Wyoming.
Sale has been in the Kent County Jail since being arraigned on October 21. He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
The girl made the allegations during counseling sessions with Community Mental Health Services in July. The incidents allegedly began in 2006.
