GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Patients and employees at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital now have a full-service retail pharmacy, right inside the building.
Meijer opened their first retail pharmacy inside Spectrum Health downtown on Monday.
“This new pharmacy will make it more convenient in so many ways for our patients, visitors and employees. Meijer has been an exceptional community partner to Spectrum Health and their retail expertise is beneficial,” said Christina Freese-Decker, president, Spectrum Health Hospital Group in a press release.
The pharmacy is located across from the Mehney Bistro restaurant on the hospital’s main floor between the hospital and the Meijer Heart Center.
The pharmacy will participate in the Meijer free prescription program with free antibiotics, prenatal vitamins, Metformin and the generic substitute for Lipitor, atorvastatin calcium.
