West Michigan – A storm system moving north of the state will bring much cooler air and strong winds to the area later tonight.
The low pressure system was located near Marquette Wednesday night with a cold front west of Michigan. Rain showers will continue tonight with some wet snow mixed in well north of Grand Rapids.
The storm system will track into Canada by Thursday morning dragging the cold front through West Michigan. Scattered rain showers will continue with a few wet snow flakes possible. Winds will be southwest at 25-35 mph with gusts to near 40 mph.
Winds will slowly diminish by early Thursday evening as the storm moves away. Scattered rain showers will continue.
