MUSKEGON, Mich. – One of the men involved in the shooting death of a Muskegon Heights basketball star has been sentenced.

Ryheim Beasley was sentenced to 16 to 35 years in prison Monday.

Marquis Gresham was killed in April of  2014 in a drive-by shooting, while he was on his way to a end-of-season basketball banquet.  Beasley admitted to being the driver in the shooting.

Shundarius Zekia Lawson pleaded no contest earlier this month to 2nd Degree Murder in the case.
