GEORGETOWN, TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people were hurt following a crash Friday morning.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fillmore Street and 24th Avenue in Georgetown Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said Justin Kent, 18, of Grandville was turning left on 24th Avenue and failed to yield the right of way. Kent pulled out into the path of Carole Langer, 68, of Wyoming.  Police said Kent’s vehicle rolled over on to its side. Kent and his 17-year-old passenger were trapped in the vehicle and were extracted by the Georgetown Township Fire Department.

Police said Kent was not hurt, but both his passenger and  Lenger  were injured. Both were taken to a Grand Rapids hospital for treatment and listed in stable condition.
