GREENVILLE, Mich. — The driver who police sayhit and killed a 4-year-old boy in downtown Greenville in September has been charged.
Susan Rieckman, 69, was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended, revoked or denied license causing death, according to Montcalm County District Court officials.
The crash happened at roughly 11:30 a.m. Sept. 14 at the corner of Washington and Lafayette. Officers told FOX 17 in September that the boy and a family member were walking across Lafayette when a car turning left from eastbound M-57 hit both of them.
The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital. The family member had minor injuries.
