Man charged with massage parlor armed robbery

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Grand Rapids man has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery at Panacea Massage, 4582 West River Dr. NE.

Taylor James Massa, 23, has been charged with three counts of armed robbery in connection with the Oct. 15 incident, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials say Massa robbed two female employees at gunpoint in the parking lot as they were closing up the business for the day.   No one was injured during the robbery.

Massa allegedly confessed to the robbery  during questioning, according to a release.  He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
