Hastings armed robbery suspect arrested in Grand Rapids

HASTINGS, Mich. — A 36-year-old Ohio man is facing charges in the Oct. 14 armed robberyat a Hastings Walgreens.

Erig Gregory Lawson was arrested Oct. 17 in Grand Rapids and is facing charges of armed and unarmed robbery, according to a release from Hastings Police Department.  He is also being charged as a fourth-time habitual offender.

Police also recovered a vehicle that Lawson allegedly stole in Ohio, according to a release.   He faces a minimum of 25 years in prison and is currently being held behind bars on a $1 million bond.
